Our business is closely linked to people’s daily lives, especially in locations where our shopping malls provide everyday needs for the people from the immediate area. These premises not only serve to provide shopping and dining facilities, but also act as social hubs designed to bring the community together.
With the concept of placemaking, we plan, design, operate and manage public spaces with people in mind, reinvigorating our premises into places for community engagement and interaction. All of which represents our commitment to the sustainable community.
Every place has its distinctive history, culture and characteristics. Placemaking is about amplifying the uniqueness of a place with the help of creativity, turning it into a public space with special meaning to the people in the neighbourhood, as well as enhancing their sense of belonging to the community.
From mural art to architecture with distinctive features, each design is a special scene all of its own, telling the story of every unique community.
Our shopping centres, sports facilities and recreational areas link people by providing spaces for them to meet and greet, interact and build relations.
We reinvigorate communities by re-inventing spaces and enrich lives by inspiring creativity and imagination in every corner.
We revitalised the outdoor podium at Choi Wan Commercial Complex to create a vibrant and energetic space for the local community. Guided by talented local artists, Link’s volunteers collaborated with other local businesses and NGO partners to create stunning murals that reflect the vibrant memories of Choi Wan. We also planted various species of trees to beautify the space and symbolise our hopes for happiness and prosperity in the community.
To fully live up to the true meaning of placemaking, the facilities must be accessible to all, regardless of their age, physical and financial abilities. All of Link's properties are equipped with basic barrier-free access passages and facilities.
