Link Asset Management Limited (Link), the manager of Link Real Estate Investment Trust (Link REIT), announced today (Monday) that Link Together Initiatives, its flagship charity and community engagement programme, will disburse $18 million in the year 2024/2025. Through collaboration with its NGO partners and the community in Hong Kong and Singapore, the programme will focus on engagement with youth and elderly communities to help serve those in need.

This year, we are particularly excited to launch our first project in Singapore, extending our reach and impact beyond Hong Kong and Mainland China to another market in which Link operates. These projects, which focus on youth and elderly engagement, will empower individuals to connect with their communities, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose. We believe that these initiatives not only support meaningful causes, but also build a brighter future for all.”
The nine projects supported by Link Together Initiatives are scheduled to commence in October. Among these are four new projects that help engage different age groups in the community live more sustainable and healthy lives while fostering connection between them with the communities. The four new projects are detailed below:
In addition to the four new projects, Link is also deepening its collaboration with five existing NGOs to enhance the projects’ impact. Having been supported by Link in its ninth year, the Food Angel - We Link We Share Programme by Bo Charity Foundation will launch a new education programme to train university students as trainers to enhance youth and community awareness of global sustainable development in addition to surplus food collection at Link’s fresh markets and shopping malls.
Arts’ Options’ Deep-rooted Multi Performing Arts programme for Golden Agers will continue to host a series of professional drama training to equip the elderly with professional standard drama performance skills and nurtures them to become professional performers and trainers. The second “Golden Age Arts Festival” will also be organised in the coming year to promote local senior arts.
Other Link Together Initiatives’ projects include Environmental Association’s Nature LINK 2024-2025; Hong Kong Expressive Arts Therapy Service Centre’s ‘The Art of Life Journey’ Expressive Arts Therapy Multi-Ethnics Active Ageing Community Scheme; and KELY Support Group’s Together, we Flourish!– a community youth mental health initiative.
At the same time, Link will continue to promote social mobility and self-enrichment among young people through the Link University Scholarship and other internship and community services programmes.
The Link Together Initiatives programme supports causes related to environmental sustainability, inclusion and active ageing, as well as youth empowerment. Since its 2013 launch and including the commitment for the 2024/2025 projects, the Link Together Initiatives programme has committed $158 million to support more than 190 projects. These projects have benefited 118 NGOs and 18 million people. Meanwhile, the Link University Scholarship programme has awarded 1,820 scholarships since its establishment in 2015.
