Link Asset Management Limited (Link), the manager of Link Real Estate Investment Trust (Link REIT, Hong Kong stock code: 823) today (Monday) unveiled a lucky draw open to all Hong Kong residents who have received the two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Prizes include $2 million-worth of Chinese restaurant cash coupons and small appliances. For residents who are fully vaccinated but have limited internet access, Link will provide registration assistance through the customer service counters at its shopping malls across the city.

George Hongchoy, Chief Executive Officer of Link, said: “As a Hong Kong-based enterprise, Link has always valued the livelihood of the local community. Through this activity, we hope to echo the Government’s call to remind people about the urgency of vaccination, so that Hong Kong can emerge from the pandemic and we can get our lives back to normal soon.”

The lucky draw will be held at the end of October 2021, with registration beginning in early September. All Hong Kong identity card holders who finish receiving two doses of the vaccine by the end of September will be able to participate in the lucky draw. Prizes include 400 Chinese restaurant dining vouchers worth $5,000 each and small appliances. Residents from across Hong Kong will have the chance to receive and use the prizes at Link’s shopping malls of their own districts. Further details about the activity will be announced later.

Separately, since the second half of March this year, Link has offered its Hong Kong staff two days of paid leave for vaccination.
