Link Asset Management Limited, the manager of Link REIT (“Link”; Hong Kong stock code: 823), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Kok Siong Ng as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), effective 3 May 2018.  Mr Ng takes over from Mr Andy Cheung who was recently appointed Chief Operating Officer (“COO”).

Mr Cheung, who continues to serve the Link Board as Executive Director, undertakes a more diverse management role in his new capacity as COO, with responsibility for executing Link’s strategic plans, particularly in the areas of project and development, property management and car park, legal and company secretary, and information technology. 

As CFO, Mr Ng reports directly to Chief Executive Officer Mr George Hongchoy and will spearhead the finance, treasury and insurance, risk management, and research and data analytics functions of Link, while jointly overseeing the central procurement and quantity surveying functions with Mr Cheung.

Mr Ng has extensive experience in the real estate industry across Asia with a strong background in finance, investment, corporate development and business technology.  He joins Link from CapitaLand Group of Singapore where he has worked since 2005, most recently as Group Chief Digital Officer. Other senior positions held in the group include Chief Corporate Development Officer of CapitaLand Limited, and Chief Financial Officer of CapitaMalls Asia Limited. He has also served as a director and an audit committee member of two listed subsidiaries of the CaptiaLand Group.
