| Committed to linking people to a brighter future, Link has collaborated with emoji™ to launch the “#Linkemoji Share Love and Fun” campaign, the first-ever emoji™ charity initiative that encourages the public to show their care towards those in need. Guided by the theme of “love”, the event promotes inter-personal communication and inspires the public to share the warmth of love with others.
To celebrate this meaningful campaign, George Hongchoy, Chief Executive Officer of Link Asset Management Limited, Macro Hüsges, Chief Executive Officer/ Founder of emoji company GmbH, who is visiting Hong Kong for the first time, Fianna Chi, Member of the Executive Committee/Chairman of the Committee on Development and Fund Raising for Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association, Michele Reis and Karena Lam officiated at the opening ceremony held at Lok Fu Place today.
Link’s CEO George Hongchoy said, “With the leading role in improving the community, Link serves the neighborhood and enhances people’s lives by supporting the training of guide dogs and food recycling programmes. We hope to spread the message of love through this first-ever emoji™ charity campaign “#Linkemoji Share Love, Share Fun” and link people to better lives.” Macro Hüsges noted, “This wonderful campaign jointly presented with Link brings the energetic emojiTM to reality to spread happiness around and offer help to those in need.”
Specially custom-made emoji™ icons were made for the collaborating partner Link, Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association, Michele Reis, Karena Lam and Rex Tso. Inspired by the recipients’ facial features, these custom-made emoji™ icons were presented by Marco Hüsges at the ceremony. Michele and Karena then tried their hands at playing the Giant emoji™ Claw Machine filled with a pool of emoji™ balls.
Charity campaign “#Linkemoji Share Love, Share Fun” will be held from 19 January to 26 February, 2017. Members of the public are invited to create their personal emoji™ messages through “Park and Dine” mobile app or linkemoji.com and share the messages on Facebook. For every message shared, LINK will sponsor HK$1 to Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association. Link is the first organisation to open up over 150 shopping malls for the use of guide dogs training, which helps the visually impaired to be connected into the society. Those who have shared their messages can also redeem the QR code for free game booths at Temple Mall, Lok Fu Place or Stanley Plaza, spreading love from online to offline.
