“World of Food and Music” draws many tourists to Stanley Plaza. They delight in the enchanting music performance while enjoying the mouth-watering seafood.

“World of Food and Music” presents world-class live music performance. The amphitheatre is packed with scores of audience enjoying the fabulous shows. The glass canopy of the brand new 300-seat amphitheatre of Stanley Plaza allows visitors to see the beautiful nature in the surrounding.

The large children playground is a new facility at Stanley Plaza. The organizer gives kids balloons during the event.

“World of Food & Music” was successfully held on 26-27 November at Stanley Plaza to celebrate the re-opening of the Plaza after completion of its asset enhancement work. Dazzling events included live demonstration by international celebrity chefs, wine & food tasting, and sensational live performances by famous World Music artists. The event attracted both local and overseas tourists who fervently joined the gourmet and music activities. Patronage of the Plaza almost doubled that of a regular weekend. This event was endorsed by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, as part of the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Month 2011.

New shops opened at Stanley Plaza over the last weekend include G.O.D., Agatha and Jim Marvin Designer Christmas specialty shop.

Another celebration program for the opening of Stanley Plaza is “Paws by the Sea” to be held in the coming weekend (3-4 December). This event underscores Stanley Plaza as the first shopping centre of the Link that welcomes dogs accompanied by visitors. Event highlights include a Guinness World Record attempt in conducting the world’s largest dog obedience class.
