This year, the Hong Kong Retail Management Association is hosting the Hong Kong Shopping Festival, themed “Enjoy Hong Kong Privileges ‧ Courtesy”. Link is committed to supporting Hong Kong in living up to its reputation as a hospitable city. Earlier this month, Link Up members had the opportunity to earn e-stamps at Temple Mall from 5 to 19 August, with qualifying purchases. The two members who collected the most e-stamps during the promotion period had the opportunity to compete in today's "Happy Shopping Spree" competition.
Timed shopping spree: Winners walk away with $10,000 in prizes
Earlier today, two teams faced off in a thrilling 15-minute shopping spree, racing to purchase $2,000 worth of designated products within the mall. The team that completed the challenge the fastest was crowned the winner! The victorious team walked away with $10,000 in mall vouchers, while the runner-up was also rewarded with $3,000 in vouchers, ensuring everyone left with a smile.
In the end, Ms Leung and Ms Choi's team claimed the top prize, while Jacky and his mother securing second place. Before the competition, Jacky shared that his mother was especially excited to participate in this shopping spree at Temple Mall. In the two weeks leading up to the contest, she visited Temple Mall almost daily, picking up various household items and appliances for their home. Wanting to support his mother, Jacky decided to join her in the competition.
Jacky's mother also expressed her love for Temple Mall, saying, “I'm a loyal customer because the mall has everything I need, from fashion and beauty products to health items and household goods. The dining options are endless, and I especially enjoy having dim sum with my family at Golden Lilies Banquet on weekends.” Jacky felt confident about their chances, as their frequent visits to Temple Mall had made them very familiar with the layout. Now, with the prize in hand, they plan to use the winnings to buy gifts for the family.
Creating enriched experiential offers: Temple Mall to launch "Blue and White Porcelain" art experience
Additionally, Temple Mall has been dedicated to promoting cultural heritage. From now until 13 October, Temple Mall will host the blue-and-white porcelain themed event in collaboration with local artist Angel Hui. The event will feature several interactive installations inspired by traditional Chinese blue and white porcelain, along with a new exhibition of blue and white porcelain artworks created by Angel Hui specifically for the mall. This event aims to immerse visitors in the beauty of blue and white porcelain art, offering an enriched cultural experience.
