This Christmas, Stanley Plaza breaks with tradition and presents "Chillmas by the Sea", an Australian-themed Christmas market. Starting from 9 December, the market will take place over three weekends and public holidays at Stanley's seaside. Supported by the Australian Consulate-General Hong Kong and Macau, Tourism Australia and the tourism boards of various states of Australia, this year's market boasts over 100 popular brands offering a variety of Australian specialities, fine wines and gourmet food, handicrafts and pet treats. Shoppers can participate in the lucky draw "Chillmas Joy at Stanley Plaza" by making designated purchases on-site. The grand prize, sponsored by Qantas Airways, is two round-trip tickets to Sydney, Australia, along with travel experiences and vouchers. There are also other exciting prizes to celebrate the holiday season.
Over 100 Australian-themed stalls offering exquisite wines, gourmet food and handmade crafts
Stanley Plaza is hosting its eighth annual Christmas market, which has attracted numerous brands to participate. It is not only a great place for shopping and enjoyment, but also a perfect destination to bring along your loved ones, friends and pets to enjoy a unique and exotic Christmas celebration. The market will feature numerous popular brands, with highlighted recommendations including Beerholic, a distributor of Australian craft beers; Gelabo, an ice cream brand that has developed a 15-hour aged ice cream using Australian brews; and Donut Demo, which will offer Australian beer-flavoured mochi donuts. Jacques & Grill, a premium Western restaurant led by renowned chef Jacques Kagi, will serve Australian-style braised beef brisket and tomato-based Australian meatballs. Additional food and beverage vendors will offer high-quality Australian coffee capsules and beans, market-exclusive Australian meat pies and Australian wagyu beef siu mai. The market will also offer a wide selection of exquisite handmade crafts, including a range of hats made from 100% natural plant fibres with sun protection, natural essential oil aromatherapy candles and exquisite accessories made by a local coin jewellery brand using Australian coins.
In addition, the market also sells the official "Australian Firefighters Calendar 2024", with shoppers able to enjoy an exclusive 10% discount on the market price. The Firefighters Calendar has been released annually since 1993, and the proceeds are used for charitable purposes to help children who have been injured or affected by fires. It's a great option for doing good and as a Christmas gift exchange. Additionally, shoppers who make purchases using an electronic payment method totalling $800 or more within Stanley Plaza, Murray House or at any of the market booths (with at least one receipt from a merchant within Stanley Plaza or Murray House) can redeem their receipt(s) for a double-walled champagne glass. Limited quantities are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Instant lucky draw with four Australian-themed photo spots
This year, Stanley Plaza’s Christmas Market has added a grand lucky draw to spread joy and celebrate Christmas. Shoppers who make electronic purchases totalling $300 or more within Stanley Plaza, Murray House or at any of the market booths can participate in the "Chillmas Joy at Stanley Plaza" game once, with over 300 prizes to be given away! The grand prize is two round-trip tickets to Sydney, Australia sponsored by Qantas Airways, along with a series of gift cards, afternoon tea vouchers and private historical tours at the Queen Victoria Building (QVB), a famous historic building half-owned by Link that houses numerous leading Australian and international brands and is a must-visit tourist attraction in Sydney. Other exciting prizes include round-trip tickets to Australia, Sea World Cruises 2024 whale watching tickets for two and Warner Bros. Movie World theme park tickets. There will also be booth games and four Australian-themed photo spots.
Stanley Plaza has also invited various organisations to perform at the market. On 9 December, students from the Australian International School Hong Kong will give a singing performance, allowing everyone to shop, eat and experience the traditional Australian Christmas atmosphere. Stanley Plaza recently added a pet park for shared use by owners and their furry companions. Together with your pet, be among the first to enjoy the park’s collection of surfboards and colourful beach-themed decorations and houses, which combine to create a stimulating and enjoyable environment that both humans and pets will love!

To facilitate transportation to and from the southern district and the event venue, Stanley Plaza is offering a free shuttle bus service between Admiralty and Shau Kei Wan, as well as a shuttle ferry service between Hong Kong Island South and Aberdeen.
