Following the tremendous successful Guinness World RecordsTM Achievement for the “Largest Dog Grooming Lesson” last year, Stanley Plaza will once again join hands with canine friends to challenge the Records on 28 September.

PAWS by the Sea 2014, the largest pet extravaganza in Hong Kong, will be hosted for the 4th consecutive year at Stanley Plaza. In support of the 86th National Dog Week, special workshops will be conducted on 21, 27 and 28 September respectively to promote animal care and responsible dog ownership.

In line with the theme “Doggie Hero”, dog owners and their canine friends are invited to dress up as their favorite superheroes for the “Super Hero Styling Competition”, winners will be rewarded with fabulous prizes!

Two Qualified Animal Communicators will host live one-to-one pet communication sessions on how to bond with our canine friends. (In picture: Renowned Animal Communicator and Therapist – Rosina Arquati)

Exclusive to the enjoyment of canine friends, the “Stanley Plaza x Dogaroo Doggie Hero Cooling Club” will be the ultimate cooling playground for doggies with misting fans and cooling games. Dog owners may make a donation of HK$20 to Hong Kong Seeing Eye Dog Services (HKSEDS) for their doggies to enjoy tasty treats, including cold dog beer and dog sorbet.

The Link has once again partnered with “99 Bus HK” to offer a pet bus service for two consecutive weekends. The circular shuttle will be available between Stanley Plaza and Central Ferry Pier, Mong Kok, Yuen Long and Tai Po. Simply donate HK$40 (per person/dog) to travel on the Stanley Plaza Charity Doggie Bus!

In support of the 85th National Dog Week, an annual celebration of canine friends held in the 4th week of September, special workshops will be conducted on 21, 27 and 28 September respectively to proclaim animal care and responsible pet ownership.
 
In line with the theme of “Doggie Hero”, doggies and their owners will be invited to don their favorite superhero outfits and enjoy a series of interactive programmes, including the “Super Hero Styling Competition”.
 
Following the tremendous successful Guinness World RecordsTM achievement for the “Largest Dog Grooming Lesson” last year, Stanley Plaza will once again join hands with canine friends to challenge the “Most dogs balancing a treat on the nose”. Dog owners and their pets will have the opportunity to dress up as superheroes and take part in this memorable event of international significance; certificates of appreciation will also be presented to all participating doggies to commemorate this special occasion.
 
Dog lovers would not want to miss the Doggie Communication Workshop, where Qualified Animal Communicators will host live one-to-one pet communication sessions on how to bond with our canine friends. The Hong Kong Seeing Eye Dog Services (HKSEDS) team will also offer a glimpse into the daily routine of a professional seeing eye dog, one of many canine companions that serve the visually-impaired community.
 
Besides joining a series of interactive activities, doggies with outstanding talents will be invited to showcase their skills and looks at the first-ever “Doggie Hero Challenge” in Hong Kong, where contestants will be assessed on their performances in speed, agility, strength and courage. In addition, all participants will be automatically enrolled in the “Super Hero Styling Competition”, the winners will be generously rewarded with fabulous prizes!
 
These programmes will be open to the public free of charge. Please register online at thelink.com.hk or onsite on event date. Each participant may only register with one pet.
