From left: Ms. Irene Mary Fisher, General Manager of Asset Management, The Link Management Limited; Mr. John Lam, Executive Director of Dah Sing Bank; Ms. Suney Chan, Head of Asset Based Finance Department, The Bank of East Asia and Mr. Keith Ng,

To better serve our quality independent operators ("QIO") and thank them for their long-term support, The Link Management Limited ("The Link") has lined up three local banks, namely Dah Sing Bank, Bank of China (Hong Kong) and The Bank of East Asia (collectively, "the Banks"), to offer them a specially designed renovation financing scheme. Entitled "The Link QIO Renovation Financing", this scheme seeks to help our QIOs to better take advantage of business opportunities by facilitating convenient access for QIOs to working capital ("Scheme").

The Scheme began today (1 September), with Mr. John Lam, Executive Director of Dah Sing Bank, Ms. Suney Chan, Head of Asset Based Finance Department, The Bank of East Asia, Mr. Keith Ng, Head of Treasury, The Link Management Limited and Ms. Irene Mary Fisher, General Manager of Asset Management, The Link Management Limited officiating at the kick-off ceremony held at The Link's head office.

During the promotional period, any of The Link's QIOs who has secured renovation financing under this Scheme from any of the Banks will receive welcome privileges from the respective banks on a first-come-first-serve basis. The fabulous offers include waiving of the requirements for collaterals and a loan amount of up to HK$1,000,000. For details, please visit the website:

www.thelinkreit.com/en/corp/qio_renovation_financing.html

Participation in the Scheme is entirely voluntary. Interested parties may refer to the promotional leaflets and posters at The Link's shopping centres for details, or call the respective banks for enquiries.

To facilitate the loan application process, The Link will, upon the request and authorization of the QIO wishing to participate in the Scheme, issue a Confirmation of Tenant Particulars addressed to the QIO which the QIO at his discretion submit to the Bank's as a reference. The Link will not disclose to the Banks any of the QIO's personal or tenancy-related information without the QIO's authorization. The respective banks process and approve loan applications of the QIO at their sole discretion. The Link is not in anyway involved in the process or the outcome of any loan applications under this Scheme, nor will The Link charge the QIO or the Banks any fee for this participation in this Scheme.

Ms. Irene Mary Fisher, General Manager of Asset Management, The Link Management Limited said, "The Link has been striving to enhance the quality of management services. With the huge number of quality independent operators in our portfolio, we have made use of our strong network to secure the support of three banks - Dah Sing Bank, Bank of China (Hong Kong) and The Bank of East Asia - in bringing about a renovation financing scheme that provides attractive offers to our QIO with capital needs. Through this scheme, we are enhancing our service to the tenants, helping them expand their business and more importantly to grow together with us."

*The banks process and approve loan applications at their sole discretion based on the background information and business operation status submitted by the applicant. There are variations among the terms and conditions listed by each bank, tenants may inquire the respective banks and make comparison according to individual needs.
