The Link Real Estate Investment Trust (“The Link REIT”) was awarded the “Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Award” in Category 3 (Other Main Board & GEM Board Companies) as well as the “Sustainability Excellence Award” as part of the Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards 2013 organised by the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies and the Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy, Hong Kong Baptist University.

The Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards, inaugurated in 2007, are designed to encourage improvement in corporate governance of listed companies in Hong Kong. The Awards provide recognition and prestige for listed companies in achieving outstanding commitment to shareholder rights, compliance, integrity, fairness, responsibility, accountability, transparency, board independence and leadership, and corporate social responsibility.
