Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre
Link's Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre underwent deep cleaning on 17 July and 18 July, during which disinfectant fogging was conducted at the whole property, and the disinfection service was offered for free to more than 40 tenants who requested to have their shops sanitised at the same time. The video documenting this disinfectant fogging exercise is attached for your reference.

During the deep cleaning, Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre also carried out a number of additional cleaning and disinfection measures, including applying disinfectant coatings to frequently used areas, expediting the disinfection of air filters in the public air conditioning system, and sanitising the whole premises with 1:49 diluted bleach.
Other Shopping Centres and Markets
In view of the increasing risk of virus transmission in recent days, disinfectant fogging was also carried out last week in both Fung Tak Shopping Centre and Choi Wan Commercial Complex, which are in the proximity of Tze Wan Shan Shopping Centre and had been visited earlier by people with confirmed COVID-19.
The additional cleaning and disinfection measures and access control in force at Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre are also implemented at Fung Tak Shopping Centre and Choi Wan Commercial Complex.
To better protect shoppers and tenants, Link has also stepped up cleaning and disinfection in its retail centres in various districts.
Additional measures to protect tenants and shoppers
Link has also implemented additional measures to protect tenants and shoppers, including:
(1) Requiring all direct staff and contractor staff to conduct temperature checks before work day, and wear masks while on duty.
(2) Requesting all retail and market tenants to adopt the same measures.
In shopping centres and fresh markets located in districts with higher virus transmission risk, such as Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre and Market, Lok Fu Market, Choi Wan Market and Fung Tak Market, we have enhanced access control by designating entrances and checking visitors’ temperature. Visitors to those properties are required to wear masks. Those with fever symptom (37.5°C or above) will not be allowed entry.
Some shopping centres and markets are also equipped with AI screeners, which will issue alerts upon detecting visitors without masks or those showing abnormal temperature.
