The Link is dedicated to enhancing the business environment at its shopping malls and to creating job opportunities together with its tenants so as to foster employment and community sustainability. In collaboration with the Hong Kong Employment Development Service, a non-profit making organisation, The Link will host the “Job Fair - Recruitment and Retraining Event” on 20 May at Lung Cheung Plaza in Wong Tai Sin. Over 1,000 full-time and part-time job vacancies will be provided by 11 companies, which include tenants of The Link. The Employees Retraining Board (ERB), an independent statutory body that provides training courses and services, will also support the fair by providing information about its training courses.

The vacancies cover a wide variety of job types and industries, including retail salespersons, customer service ambassadors, shop managers, warehouse assistants, vehicle attendants, forklift truck drivers, motorcycle delivery drivers, production operators, contracted packers, chefs, sushi apprentices, sashimi chefs, waiters/waitresses, captains, cashiers, customer service trainers, cadet beauty consultants, junior beauty and make-up consultants, and cadet aestheticians. No specific qualifications or work experience are required for some of the jobs. Some part-time jobs offer an hourly salary as high as HK$50, while the monthly salary of some full-time jobs is up to HK$14,000.
