To celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Lok Fu Plaza, from 28 April to 31 May, The Link is hosting “The Link’s Japanese Street Art”, a series of celebrations bringing Japan’s landmark street scenes and art performances to the plaza, which will certainly be the talk of the town. The first two events “Japanese-Style Baby Crawling Contest” and “Kid Model Fashion Show” were held successfully, bringing a strong Japanese atmosphere at Lok Fu Plaza. More exciting programs in May as follows - Costumed Baby Crawling Contest (12 May) Up to 225 babies dressed up as street performers and Japanese cartoon characters will be invited to compete for the “Best Costumed Baby Award” and the “Most Vigorous Award”. “Lok Fu’s Got Talent” Show (19 May) Up to 80 kids will be invited to participate in the show and give a two-minute performance to compete for “The Stage King Award”, “The Most Trendy King Award”, “The Best Performance Award”, “The Most Popular Performer Award” and “The Best Costume Award”. Japanese Cartoon Character Crawling Contest (26 May) Up to 225 babies dressed up as Japanese cartoon characters will be invited to compete for the “Most Lovely Baby Award” and the “Most Vigorous Baby Award”. Apart from the above events, The Link is also offering generous shopping offers during the celebration period.
