The Link Property Management team receives the awards at the presentation ceremony.

The Link’s properties garnered four awards in the Excellence in Facility Management Award 2014 (EFMA) organised by The Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management. Lok Fu Plaza, Choi Yuen Plaza and Stanley Plaza won Excellence in Facility Management Awards in the Retail category, while Kwai Fong Plaza was presented with a Certificate of Merit of the same category.

The Link’s Stanley Plaza won this award for the first time in 2013, and this year’s outstanding results recognise The Link’s efforts and exemplary record in facility management. The Link is committed to continuous enhancement of its facilities and facility management services. In addition to the ongoing investments in asset enhancement which improve the hardware facilities of its properties, The Link strives to bring more shopping choices to customers by improving the trade mix at its shopping centres. By providing customers with thoughtful services, including baby stroller, wheelchair and mobile battery recharger lending services, The Link offers customers a better shopping experience, while at the same time providing a more dynamic business environment to its tenants.

Gordon Wu, Director (Property Management & Operations) of The Link Management Limited, said, “These recognitions are evidence of The Link’s improved facility management performance, and they validate the efforts of our staff and team members. With a portfolio focused on community shopping centres that serve the daily needs of the people of Hong Kong, we serve the community by creating vibrant and unique retail experiences that meet the needs of the people who live around our shopping centres. We will work to maintain our high standard on facilities management and serve the community by meeting the needs of our customers in order to become a world-class real estate investor and manager.”

The EFMA aims to recognise the outstanding facility management performance of companies and organisations based on criteria including technology, green initiatives, carbon reduction, universal access, occupational health and safety, and team building.
