HONG KONG, 2 March 2010- The Link Management Limited (The Link) has announced today the resignation of its Chief Operating Officer Mr. Ross O'Toole. Mr. Ian Robins, CEO of The Link said today, "After two years at The Link, Ross has decided to move on. Ross has brought significant experience, energy and focused performance to The Link. During this time the whole Management Team has worked to see substantial progress for The Link. This has included numerous development initiatives, improvements in our overall team and personnel, a change in our management approach, and upgrade in our reporting and systems. The Team is well set to continue to capitalize on these improvements to our operations. These platform changes are both structural and sustainable. Over the long term we believe these initiatives will bring continued benefits for our retailers, our Unitholders and better serve our customers. Ross will be leaving on a date to be agreed with the CEO, following a successful search for his replacement." Mr. O'Toole said, "During my time at The Link, the whole team has achieved excellent results. We have improved our shopping centre facilities as well as incremental Unitholder value. A number of business initiatives have been implemented, including moving from outsourcing to directly managing the property portfolio ourselves by introducing a new operating platform. Improvements in our Assets through redevelopment and the opportunity to work with some great people have been highlights for me. I feel the time is right to move on to pursue other opportunities." Mr. Robins acknowledged in an internal presentation to the senior Management Staff today that he respected Mr. O'Toole's decision to pursue other opportunities, thanked Ross for his dedication to The Link over the past two years, and his professional approach to facilitating an orderly hand over of responsibilities. |
