Link’s Butterfly Market organised the first Lantern Festival event to celebrate its grand opening with a hundred people joining TVB cooking show host Steve Lee Ka-Ting to make Sweet Glutinous Rice Balls for their loved ones. Artiste Tsui Wing came along with his family including his adorable daughter “Bao Bao” to visit the Market and made cookies and played games with the shoppers to kick-start the month-long “In Love with Cooking” campaign.
Butterfly Market, Link’s newly renovated property, is the biggest single-floor market in Hong Kong offering fresh produce, quality grocery items and a wide array of eateries all under one roof for the Tuen Mun residents. To encourage more people to cook at home, Butterfly Market invited Steve Lee to demonstrate his signature fried oyster dish.
During the event, Steve Lee and Tsui Wing enjoyed making Sweet Glutinous Rice Balls with couples and families and sent blessings to all shoppers at Butterfly Market. In the coming two Saturdays on Feb 18 and 25 at 3pm, Steve Lee will return to Butterfly Market to demonstrate other signature dishes, and conduct his first market tour providing customers tips for shopping quality ingredients.
