No, applicant must be a full-time student who will continue Year 2/3/4 full-time bachelor’s study.
Awarded students can make use of the grant to realise their goals and plans to improve their learning environment and/or seek further learning opportunities.
Awarded students are welcome to join the Link Scholars Alumni activities, including the scholarship presentation ceremony, volunteer activities and other promotional events organised by Link. We also encourage students to continue to contribute to society. Their participation in the community services might be assessed in the next year’s scholarship application.
You have to bring the documents to prove your identity (e.g. Identity Card) and the designated declaration document (click here ) to visit any of Home Affairs Enquiry Centres in person and make the oath in front of the Commissioner for Oaths. The Commissioner for Oaths shall sign and append the seal of Home Affairs Department to the declaration document as confirmation. This document can be used as a proof of meeting the eligibility of the scholarship programme (including the first-generation university student from his/her family to study at one of the Hong Kong’s universities#; aged 25 below; a local student in Hong Kong***). This service is free of charge.
