Asset Management

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Asset Plan formulation and implementation with business objectives including asset positioning, trade mix & leasing strategies, ESG initiatives and asset management
  • Analyze assets’ value creation and operational efficiency and identify the enhancement opportunities
  • Coordinate with a dedicated team to achieve KPIs, including leasing, property management, marketing and project development professionals
  • Assist in preparing reports, financial analysis and presentation materials as well as administrative support to the team
  • Perform market analysis and provide strategic advice to leverage on market opportunities if required

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Surveying, Real Estate or related disciplines
  • Possess strong business acumen and market awareness, polished presentation preparation skills and eagerness to learn
  • A team-player with excellent organization, presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Advanced PowerPoint & Excel. Knowledge in Power BI and business analytics tools would be an advantage
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English & Chinese

 

Capital Transactions

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the investment strategy that is consistent with Link’s overall growth strategy
  • Support the Capital Transactions team in executing transactions including real estate acquisitions and disposals, M&A, capital market opportunities, portfolio of assets and/or platforms and corporates and third-party capital fund raising.
  • Drive deal execution through research, data collection and analyses, financial modelling and preparation of investment committee presentation materials
  • Take ownership and responsibility of financial models: new construction, update, maintenance and review of investment/ financial models and assumptions.
  • Participate in both internal and external meetings, and due diligence sessions on investment opportunities
  • Work closely with Investment Team to support their deal origination and underwriting process
  • Support & work with all internal stakeholders to monitor projects post-completion, including integration and conduct post-investment reviews

 

Requirements

  • Degree or higher degree in business, finance, accounting, surveying, legal or related discipline from reputable University preferred
  • CPA, CFA, CAIA, MRICS or equivalent will be a plus.  
  • Relevant experience in corporate finance, M&A and transaction execution for listed corporates including investment banking, private equity, funds and in-house experiences will be a plus. Real estate sector experience will be a plus
  • Strong financial modelling and analysis skills, preferably with prior independent experience handling complex financial models
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Able to express self verbally in a knowledgeable, coherent and confident manner
  • Well-versed in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel), financial modelling and presentation skills.  Knowledge and experience in real estate investment management software a plus (eg. Argus, Forbury)
  • Possess sharp business acumen and commercially savvy with strong market awareness
  • A collaborative team-player and a desire to work in a team environment
Finance

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be initially placed in Link Group Finance Function for about 2 years to
  • support acquisition and disposal of financial and tax due diligence,
  • prepare financial analysis and management reporting for Mainland China, Singapore and overseas operations,
  • handle consolidation and financial reporting, liaise with external auditors and consultants for interim/annual audits,
  • prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts and
  • support the implementation of ERP system.
  • Upon successful completion of the 2-year management associate programme with good performance, the job-holder will be promoted to a junior manager role to lead a small team of sub-function under one of the functions in Link Finance, depending on capabilities and availability. Functions under Finance include Group Finance, HK Finance, Business Analytics and Capital Management.
  • Short-term placements under Mainland Finance, Singapore Finance and Australia Finance are available depending on capabilities and availability.

 

Requirements

  • Management Associate is suitable for candidates with high calibre, the right attitude, and a good potential to be a future finance leader of Link REIT
  • Bachelor or higher degree from the top 100 universities in Accountancy, Finance or related disciplines; MBA graduate is a plus
  • HKICPA/ACCA qualified or finalist accountant; CFA Charterholder is a plus 
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from the real estate industry, property management company or Big 4 accounting firms
  • High proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel functions and PowerPoint; experience in Power BI, is a plus
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Hands-on, proactive, meticulous and able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in a demanding and fast pace environment
  • Good communication skills, strong teamwork spirit, open and transparent

 

Human Resources

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on assignments at various functions in HR: business partnering, talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development, performance management, reward, workplace
  • Conduct research and analysis to help formulate impactful HR initiatives
  • Lead or participate in projects from end to end. Work with departments/stakeholders inside and outside HR on ideation, design, planning and implementation

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder with good academic standing, with 2-5 years’ work experience
  • Aspire to grow to become a successful HR professional
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mind
  • Organised with good project management skills
  • Comfortable to work under ambiguity and complexity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
Investment

Responsibilities

  • Build financial models to evaluate real estate investment opportunities in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan
  • Research on Asia macroeconomic, real estate and capital markets
  • Weekly Asia news update 

 

Requirements

  • University graduate in surveying, real estate, finance, accounting, economics or related discipline
  • Excellent command in Excel
  • Good inter-personal skills and strong in collaboration with other team members
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Strong intention to develop career in property field
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Sustainability

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise to cross-functional teams in delivering a cross spectrum of impactful sustainability projects, ranging from Net Zero transition, climate resilience, responsible investment to impact measurement
  • Analyse the effectiveness of Group-level sustainability initiatives and performance of targets on an ongoing basis
  • Foster multifaceted engagement with external stakeholders like tenants, investors, industry associations, communities and peers for collaboration and advance Link’s thought leadership in sustainability
  • Strengthen corporate ESG reporting and rating by ensuring robust data management system and integrity of sustainability disclosures are in place
  • Develop sustainability policies, procedures and case studies to institutionalise Link’s sustainability best practices
  • Conduct analytical independent research and present findings on emerging sustainability trends, industry benchmark, best practices and innovation opportunities

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with Sustainability and ESG qualifications are a plus, e.g. SCR, CFA in ESG investing and CESGA etc.
  • Strong sustainability and environmental knowledge, demonstrated passion in sustainability
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills and solid numerical skills
  • Critical thinking, self-motivated and independent
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
  • Multi-lingual in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
