Link has officially launched its flagship destination mall TKO Gateway (formerly named Hau Tak Shopping Centre) at Hang Hau of Tseung Kwan O. TKO Gateway serves as the shopping hub in Tseung Kwan O, connecting Sai Kung and Kowloon. The newly renovated TKO Gateway has become another flagship destination mall in Link’s portfolio, offering a more diverse tenant mix targeting young adults and young couples. A major highlight is fitness service centre Physical Fitness opening its very first outlet in the Tseung Kwan O district.
As TKO Gateway celebrates its opening during Chinese New Year period, from 10 January to 5 February 2017, TKO Gateway will take on the look of a blossoming pink train station, symbolising the mall as the hub of Tseung Kwan O that brings friends and families together to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Link’s CEO George HONGCHOY said that “the newly re-branded TKO Gateway will be our new flagship destination mall, providing a diverse range of shopping and dining options. The mall will celebrate the spring festivities with the community by transforming itself into a train station with strong new year elements”.
To celebrate the Grand Opening and Chinese New Year, shoppers can participate in the “TKO Gateway Lucky Draw” to win the double return air tickets and museum entry passes in Los Angeles, Tokyo or Taipei during the promotion period. A wide range of souvenirs, gifts and delicious food options from all around the world are showcased at the mall. Shoppers will also have the chance to join our DIY workshops to make one-of-a-kind clay trains and terrarium to take home. Limited quota, and on a first-come-first-served basis.
