Link’s Fresh Markets have launched a brand-new, year-long “Eat and Play Pairing” workshop to promote healthy dining habits. From August until October, with the theme of “High Fibre Dishes x Nutritious Lunch Boxes for Kids”, “The Dynamic Duo” Shirley Wong and Mak Wing-fung have created a series of healthy and stylish dishes to enjoy at home, work, school or even at outdoor picnics.
“Eat and Play Pairing” – fostering a healthy lifestyle for families
Starting from August 6 to October 23, Link’s Fresh Market ambassadors will give live cooking demonstrations of the dishes designed by “The Dynamic Duo” and offer free food sampling every Saturday afternoon at selected fresh markets. In addition, experts will be on hand to show how to make healthy and attractive lunch boxes for kids. All the ingredients are available at the Markets along with complimentary recipes. These high-fibre Western dishes are high on vegetables and low on meat, and provide a refreshing mix of flavours. The colourful, easy-to-make creative lunch boxes can be prepared together with kids during the new school year to enhance parent-child bonding.
Link’s Fresh Market Ambassador Training Programme
The Fresh Market ambassadors, who are also residents of the areas where they work, enthusiastically respond to visitors’ queries and are more than happy to share the latest trends in food produce and useful cooking tips. Since 2015, Link has designed a series of training programmes for its ambassadors, including master class with star chefs, and workshops on communication, grooming, and hospitality, in order to further enhance service levels.
