In June last year, The Link organised the first “Sunday Summer Jam” at Stanley Plaza, which attracted a wave of avid music fans and visitors. This year, we proudly present another round of “Sunday Summer Jam”, starting on 2 June and continuing for five consecutive Sundays. On Tuen Ng Festival (12 June), better known in English as Dragon Boat Festival, The Link will organise a special “Dragon Boat Summer Jam” and deliver an array of music and dance performances to share the joy of the festival with all visitors. Five consecutive Sundays filled with great shows and a wide variety of musical acts
“Sunday Summer Jam” features a wide variety of artists, including many new local emerging music groups who will serve as the opening act. By involving these bands, which include Tri-deuces, Matchbox, Lil' Ashes and Rachel Believes in Me etc., The Link will give visitors the chance to be exposed to outstanding new acts on the Hong Kong music scene. Musical performances will also include “Unplugged Music Day” with a cappella, the Fête de la Musique portion of “Le French May”, Joint-U Music Performance and “Stanley Plaza Show Up” providing a public platform for stage performance. Hilda Wong, Head of Marketing of The Link Management Limited, said, “The Link is devoted to promoting music creation and cultural exchange events to allow customers to experience different styles of music from around the world and art performances for free. We are pleased to again be a part of this annual summer celebration of music and dance in Hong Kong.
