The fourth “Stanley Plaza World of Food and Music” closes today with the first Sparkling Walk in Hong Kong to support the Race with Pink Heels, an annual charitable event where runners meet the challenge of sprinting in high heels for a great cause. Sparkling Walk allows wine and dessert lovers to enjoy premium champagne and sparkling wines paired with scrumptious desserts at 15 participating restaurants and retail outlets at Stanley Plaza. The response to the debut of Sparkling Walk has been overwhelming, and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry. The hilarious Race with Pink Heels brings even more fun with newly added features along the race course, such as a Large Macaroons X’mas Tree and Huge Balloons, that help create a memorable experience for participants. “Stanley Plaza World of Food and Music 2014” has the theme of “Multi-sensory Feast” and it includes the Hong Kong debut of “WOFAM Up Parade”, which features dancers and singers, inflatable patisseries and multicoloured desserts with delectable scents to dazzle all the senses. A spectacular line-up of international performances and exciting party games liven up the party atmosphere, while the Dessert Pop-up Bar allows you to feast your eyes and palate on delicious desserts to end the festivities on a sweet note! |
