This collaboration demonstrates Link’s commitment to leveraging its assets as platforms for cultural exchange and creative exploration. George Hongchoy, Link Group Chief Executive Officer, said, “At Link, we see our assets as more than just traditional retail spaces — they provide a platform where art, culture, commerce, and the local community can come together to create meaningful experiences and connections. Our partnership with Design Trust at Murray House in Stanley highlights the power of collaboration and the potential to reimagine our properties as hubs for inspiration, learning and engagement.”
During the three-month festival, Murray House will serve as a hub for Design Trust Futures Festival 2025: The Art of Transformation, offering exhibitions, workshops and cultural tours. The programme explores themes such as spatial constructions, architectural interactions, and the reimagining of city heritage and the natural environment, providing visitors with new perspectives on design and culture.
Curated by Marisa Yiu, Co-Founder, Lead Curator and Executive Director of Design Trust, the festival brings together more than 60 designers, artists, architects, and curators, presenting a dynamic programme that delves into material ecologies, ocean connectivity, and the unique geography of Hong Kong’s 263 islands.
Five key exhibitions and multiple public space installations, features lightweight interventions throughout the historic building to echo the Stanley waterfront, and its environs, as a space for dialogue to speculate on the future of spaces, urbanism and creative discovery.
Design Trust will also partner with Open House Hong Kong to host a series of community tours from April to June, enabling participants to explore historic Stanley’s culture.
Link remains committed to forging partnerships that elevate the role of art and design in enriching lives and bringing lasting value to tenants, stakeholders, and the neighbourhoods it serves.
