To usher in the Lunar New Year, Link’s Temple Mall has created the ‘Pinwheels of Good Fortune’, an auspicious installation crafted from 16,888 pinwheels. Standing 6.8 metres tall in a rainbow-coloured figure-of-eight formation, and attempting to set the Guinness World Records of ‘the world’s largest pinwheel display’, this is a must-see spot for visitors and shoppers to celebrate a prosperous Year of the Dog.
From 30 January to 4 March, the ‘Pinwheels of Good Fortune’ will be at Temple Mall, which is located next to Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple, an essential destination for visitors during Lunar New Year. During the campaign period, visitors who take a photo with the installation and upload it to any social media platform with the hashtag #LinkTempleMall can enter the mall’s exclusive Pinwheels Photo Zone to take unique Lunar New Year snapshots with family and friends.

From 9 to 17 February, a range of festive food and handmade merchandise are offered at Temple Mall’s Flower Market, where visitors can purchase one-of-a-kind goodies from acclaimed local handcrafter Angelie, who paints with both hands instantaneously. What’s more, from the first to the fourth day of Lunar New Year, customers with same-day spending of HK$200 or more can join a ‘Pinwheel of Good Fortune’ Workshop to create a unique pinwheel to spread blessings in the new year.
