In celebration of its re-opening upon completion of asset enhancement work valued at $227 million, Stanley Plaza proudly presents Sounds by the Sea, a 2-day spectacular music show, over the coming weekend on 19 November at the amphitheatre on the ground floor. The event will promote cultural exchange of world musicians, with dozens of super stars from around the globe performing at the music carnival. In the coming Sunday, the Island South will be enchanted with the Jazz, Latin American music, Pop, R&B and Hip Hop performed by David Bowie Knives, Noughts and Exes, 9 Maps, Corey Tam and some of Hong Kong’s top homegrown music bands. Free admission is open to all members of the public.
The brand new amphitheatre offers 300 seats as well as standing zones. The audience will have a wonderful time enjoying the sea breeze while clapping along with the performers and listening to their beautiful music.

Following the completion of the asset enhancement work with an investment of over $200 million, Stanley Plaza has entered into a new era, with its six floors of semi-outdoor premises providing high-end retail shops and restaurants. Standing by the seashore, its brand new 300-seat amphitheatre is a perfect venue for staging various entertainment programs. The attractions of Stanley Plaza also include numerous specialty restaurants, alfresco dining venues and the Maritime Museum housed in the historical landmark building Murray House.
To mark the official grand opening of the Stanley Plaza, a 2-day “World of Food & Music” will be staged on 26-27 November. Top chefs and sommeliers renowned locally and internationally will host cooking demonstration and wine tasting. Alongside, world famous musicians and performers will ravish the visitors with a serious of stunning shows.
Other event highlights include “Sounds by the Sea” featuring pop music played by local top bands (19-20 November), and “Paws by the Sea” (3-4 December) which is to underscore Stanley Plaza as the first dog-friendly shopping centre of the Link.
