From now until 18 October, Link’s Sheung Tak Plaza enables you to channel your inner athlete with “Decathlon with a Twist”, centring on 10 track & field events! Get yourself moving and collect gold medals in all 10 events to collect prizes!
The decathlon is a demanding athletic event that takes speed, strength, skill and stamina to win. Sheung Tak Plaza’s take on the decathlon, on the other hand, challenges your mastery in photo-taking and posing. The 10 sport-themed selfie installations encourage you to show off your coolest poses as a contender in the 100 metres, 400 metres, 1500 metres, 110-metre hurdles, high jump, long jump, pole vault, shot put, discus throw and javelin throw games. On top of selfie moments, sporting events are also in place for those itching to hone their skills, with the javelin throw and 100-metre dash testing eye-to-hand coordination, and giant hurdles testing balance skills.
Shoppers can participate in the “Decathlon Challenge” and collect gold medals by scanning the site-specific QR codes at the shopping centre. Those who collect a designated amount of gold medals can redeem them for prizes as a token of their “sportsmanship”!
