The newly renovated Stanley Plaza warmly welcomes everyone coming with dogs. Dog lovers especially must not miss the “Paws by the Sea” to be held on 3-4 December 2011, where the highlight is the first-of-its-kind world record breaking attempt in Hong Kong with the participation of dogs. On that day from 3pm to 5pm, there will be the largest dog obedience class ever held in the world which is open to the public. Just come with your beloved pet!
To join us in breaking the world record, dog owners have to accompany their dogs for a training of no less than 30 minutes to be provided by the organizer. The dogs will be trained with two new skills, Finishing Right and Marching.
Participation in this world record breaking event is free of charge. All pre-registered participants may come to Stanley from Admiralty using the free shuttle bus service offered by the organizer. Interested dog owners please visit www.pawsbythesea.hk and fill in the registration form. After the world record breaking attempt, all participants will be given a gift pack of pet items.
Dog lovers and visitors will see donation boxes of SPCA(HK) at various locations inside Stanley Plaza, and are encouraged to contribute to support the work of SPCA(HK).
“Paws by the Sea” will be officially opened at noon on 3 December (Saturday). The first event is SEASON Next Top Dog Model 2011, followed by SPCA’s 90th anniversary commemorative event “Charity Tea Party”. All admission fees will be donated to SPCA(HK). The glittering “SEASON Pet-Oscar” will come after “Charity Tea Party”, celebrating the very best Hong Kong pet videos.
