On Sunday 29 September, a new Guinness World Record was set for “Largest Dog Grooming Lesson”. The record-breaking event was held at the annual Stanley Plaza PAWS by the Sea organised by The Link Management Limited (“The Link”) and The Society for Abandoned Animals (SAA). Many well-dressed doggies and their owners participated in “Top Doggie Runway” and winners of the contest were awarded with fabulous prizes.
During the two weeks of PAWS by the Sea 2013, Stanley Plaza teamed up with the Society for Abandoned Animals (SAA) to offer a series of vibrant and fun-filled activities with the theme of ‘New Take on Life and Style in Doggies’ Way’, to give dogs and their owners an exciting and unforgettable weekend.
Hilda Wong, Head of Marketing of The Link, said, "The Link has always endeavoured to create fun and unique experiences for dog lovers. This year, Stanley Plaza PAWS by the Sea includes a series of activities that will help foster the dog-friendly image of Stanley Plaza, which is The Link's first shopping mall to welcome dogs, as well as to convey the message about caring for animals.”
