As a highlight for “Paws by the Sea” pet carnival, “World’s Largest Dog Obedience Class” event was held today (4 Dec) at Stanley Plaza. After on-site training, 354 dogs completed two new commands, breaking world record for the largest dog obedience class. It is also the first dog-related world record achieved in Hong Kong. The event was observed by two witnesses. Documentation about this event will be submitted to relevant body for verification.
Under the guidance of a professional dog trainer, the participating dogs learnt to respond two new commands – Finishing Right and Marching. In addition to breaking world record, the event equipped the handlers with training tips, which help promote better relationship between dog and human.
"Paws by the Sea" was held this weekend ( 3-4 Dec) at Stanley Plaza to mark the centre becoming a dog-friendly shopping mall. Apart from the “World’s Largest Dog Obedience Class”, other attractions include a dog beauty contest, the SPCA Charity Tea Party and the contest for Hong Kong’s best pet videos Proceeds from Paws by the Sea will be donated to the SPCA in celebration of their 90th anniversary.
