The Match & Snap Champion was announced, and the winner received HK$13,000 worth of prizes, comprising a cash reward of HK$10,000 and HK$3,000 of free spending credit with the Dah Sing The Link Happy Visa card.

Match & Snap @ Lok Fu Plaza, a fashion promotion event organised by The Link’s Lok Fu Plaza this summer, received an overwhelming response from youngsters after it was launched in June, attracting the participation of nearly 700 people. The grand finale Match & Snap Ultimate Challenge, held at the plaza on 31 August, saw an intense battle between nearly 100 Trend Setters, who were all vying for the championship crown.Popular DJs Josephine Ng and Danny So from Commercial Radio Hong Kong were present at the event to cheer for the Trend Setters and entertain the audience with games. They also shared fashion tips with the large crowd that had gathered to watch the competition and the youngster fans to support the Trend Setters. Numerous other awards were also given out on the day, including:

1. Winning Trend Setters from the past 12 weeks (three winners per week for a total of 36):Cash reward for the total cost of qualifying apparel

2. Winners of Match & Snap Ultimate Challenge:
Champion: HK$10,000 in cash and HK$3,000 free spending credit of Dah Sing The Link Happy Visa Card
Runner-up: HK$5,000 in cash and HK$2,000 free spending credit of Dah Sing The Link Happy Visa Card
Second runner-up: HK$3,000 in cash and HK$1,000 free spending credit of Dah Sing The Link Happy Visa Card

Additionally, the three Trend Setters with the most ‘Likes’ on the official Commercial Radio Hong Kong my903 Facebook page were able to register for a full rebate of the costs of their fashion creations, receiving HK$1,000 of free spending credit with the Dah Sing-The Link Happy Visa card. Three lucky Facebook users who ‘liked’ these three Trend Setters also received HK$1,000 of free spending credit with the Dah Sing The Link Happy Visa card.

As summer holiday comes to an end, The Link took the opportunity to announce ‘The Link Student Promotion’, which will offer students the best deals for an entire year from 1 September 2013 to 31 August 2014. To participate, full-time students can download the We Chat smartphone app and visit The Link Student Promotion page for more information. They will each receive an E-stamp from WeChat when they make purchases worth HK$50 or more and display their student card at the cash register at The Link’s Lok Fu Plaza, Wong Tai Sin Plaza, Lung Cheung Plaza, Hau Tak Shopping Centre, Kai Tin Shopping Centre or Wo Che Plaza. Once they have collected three E-stamps, students will qualify for one entry to The Link Student Promotion lucky draw, which offers the chance to win over 50,000 trendy prizes.
