To attract customers and encourage spending, The Link Management Limited (“The Link”) has launched the Halloween Haunted Vessel at Lok Fu Plaza, with a live radio broadcast of the event during Halloween.
Ms Hilda Wong, Head of Marketing of The Link, said, “With the aim of increasing business turnover and improving the business environment for our tenants, The Link organises promotional events under a variety of festival themes to increase the business potential of the shopping centre as well as extend our customer base.
“This year, we launched the Halloween Haunted Vessel Party at Lok Fu Plaza to celebrate Halloween with customers, which tied in with other shopping promotional activities at the centre. This strengthened our existing customer base and attracted customers from other districts. By developing our local university student network, we also successfully attracted more students to take part in the event.
“During the promotional period, the footfall and business turnover of Lok Fu Plaza increased by 10%, and tenants and customers responded enthusiastically to the promotional event,” she added. As the economy is prospering in Hong Kong, The Link is optimistic about the market and so will be launching Christmas promotional events at 55 designated shopping centres. Details on these events will be released soon.
During the Halloween event on 31 October, customers who make purchases of HK$50 or more can present a valid receipt to receive an admission ticket for the Halloween Haunted Vessel and experience an exciting journey from 6pm to 11:30pm.
