Jump on the bandwagon of an active lifestyle! Located next to the prominent Lion Rock and Checkerboard Hill, Lok Fu Place is a dining and shopping destination in Central Kowloon blessed with a nearby outdoor sportsground and park, where fitness enthusiasts can sweat and socialise. Wellness activities will be launched regularly in the mall to encourage the public to embrace healthy green living. From June to August, Lok Fu Place is presenting “Lok Wood Triple Up”, a trilogy of markets and workshops themed “Yama Camp”, “Coffee Camp”, and “Green Camp” – to give sports enthusiasts and hipsters the chance to come together and spend wonderful weekends.
“Lok Wood Triple Up” will bring a distinctive series of markets and workshops to Lok Fu Place from 18 June to 28 August. Come visit with family and friends to create eco-friendly handicrafts as the first step to green living. There will also be mini concerts on designated dates to round out this “slow-living” experience.
“Yama Camp” in June
This Yama-style market will bring together camping and outdoor gear, hiking essentials and accessories from local brands. Don’t forget to join the “Plant Print Workshop” and “Anti-Gravity Kokedama Workshop” to experience the wild in new way.
“Coffee Camp”’ in July
Enjoy a cup of coffee and meet fellow enthusiasts from local coffee shops and retailers who are keen to share and promote coffee culture with quality beans and tools. “Unlock your Secret Coffee Code” by vegan coffee specialist SOFE COFFEE, held on designated weekends, will offer personalised coffee flavours based on personality and interests of the customers.
“Green Camp” in August
Natural and organic grocers in this green market will feature organic harvests from the urban farm at Lok Fu Place Zone B, which is managed by Rooftop Republic, a Hong Kong-based social enterprise. This natural bounty is a tangible outcome of the commitment to sustainability and green living that these grocers share with Lok Fu Place and Rooftop Republic. “Green Camp” will also include regular guided tours to the urban farm to introduce participants to organic farming and to offer green living tips.
Live Show@ADDOILMUSIC
Lok Fu Place is collaborating with ADDOILMUSIC, the first social enterprise in Hong Kong to promote music-making, as well as with young musicians such as Jaime Cheung and Midnight Wander to organise weekend gigs during the summer. The shows are designed to support young musicians and promote inspiring exchanges.
