As Hong Kong’s first pet-friendly shopping mall, Link’s Stanley Plaza is committed to provide innovative services for customers and their pets, offering opportunities for dog-owners to create precious moments with their dogs. Into its eighth year under the theme of “Paws by the Sea 2019”, a series of exciting events will be held at Stanley Plaza on the weekends from 23 to 31 March. This will include the first-in-Hong Kong Seaside Doggie speed-dating, where dog-owners and their dogs go together to find their true love and friends, while the loving dogs-in-waiting will have a chance to be adopted into a new family.
Stanley Plaza and Society for Abandoned Animals will hold a Walk the Dog Experiential Tour for people who are considering adopting a dog to assess their chemistry with the dogs being considered for adoption. On 31 March, Link will also host the Doggie Wedding Gown Exhibition and Design Competition, in which dog-owners can design a unique wedding dress for their doggies and dress up them as a model in the catwalk show. At the same time, there is a dog wedding exhibition which collects various dog marriage information for each dog owner.
Stanley Plaza will also challenge the Guinness World Record™ again on 24 March, where dog-owners could write love letters to their dogs and decorate their own “love bottle” and nearly 73,000 bottles to create the "Longest Line of Glass Bottles". After the event, owner can bring their bespoke bottle home as souvenir. Several large-scale dog photo spots, exciting activities and workshops are also arranged concurrently, including Photography Tour, Love the Dogs Educational Workshop, Pet Doctor Workshop Doggie, Love Is in The Air Carnival Exhibition. From now until 11 March, any member of the public who love dogs can apply for free the events through Link’s mobile APP “PARK & DINE”. For event enquiries, please call 3616 6089 during office hours.
