It is a great honour that The Link REIT has been recognised not only for our excellence in corporate governance, as well as adopting exemplary standards and demonstrating commitment and achievement in different areas of corporate sustainability.” “We aim to promote transparency, accountability and proactive risk management with strong corporate governance. At the same time, we strive to embed a culture of sustainability across all business units and in our daily operations. I believe strong corporate governance is essential for a successful business over the long term, and only a sustainable business model can improve the lives around and the communities at large. We will keep up the good work and continue to serve and improve the lives of those around us.” The Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards, inaugurated in 2007, are designed to encourage improvement in corporate governance of listed companies in Hong Kong. The Awards provide recognition and prestige for listed companies in achieving outstanding commitment to shareholder rights, compliance, integrity, fairness, responsibility, accountability, transparency, board independence and leadership, and corporate social responsibility. |
