Link Asset Management Limited (Link), the manager of Link Real Estate Investment Trust (Link REIT), announced that applications for the Link University Scholarship 2026/27 are now open, reaffirming its long‑standing commitment to supporting local students and fostering upward social mobility in the community.
Established in 2015, the Link University Scholarship has supported outstanding students in Hong Kong by easing their financial burden and recognising their commitment to the community. Since the scheme inception, Link has granted a total of 2,260* scholarships.
For the 2026/27 academic year, Link will offer 220 scholarships, each valued at $20,000. This includes 70 scholarships for Year 1 students and 150 scholarships for Year 2 to Year 4 students. The scholarship is open to eligible local students studying at twelve University Grants Committee‑funded and self‑financing universities# in Hong Kong.
Eligible applicants must be local students who are the first in three generations within their families to attend universities in Hong Kong, demonstrate good academic performance, and be actively involved in community or social service.
Link also places strong emphasis on building lasting connections between its scholarship recipients and the communities it serves. Through Link Scholars Alumni, scholarship recipients are encouraged to take part in various engagement activities, including volunteer services, to broaden their exposure and deepen their understanding of community needs.
Since 2025, Link has extended its support to secondary school students through the Link Secondary Student Scholarship, in recognition of their academic excellence and dedication to their schools and communities in Hong Kong, and to support youth development at different stages of education.
