To celebrate the arrival of summer with customers and visitors, the second annual “Sunday Summer Jam” is being staged at The Link’s Stanley Plaza, (every Sunday this June) featuring a series of exciting programmes. Today (12 June), the “Dragon Boat Summer Jam” was held to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival with a series of music and dance performances.
“Dragon Boat Summer Jam” Excites Every Visitor
The performances today at Stanley Plaza not only included high-profile and distinctive music bands such as Quatro Ritmo, Azucar Latina, @One and Les Gromechkos, but also included a finale featuring Broadway dance and African drum performances. The festive mood soared when a large number of local and overseas visitors flocked to Stanley Plaza, making the venue even livelier. Visitors were encouraged to take photos of the festive atmosphere, and those who checked-in and uploaded their snaps to Facebook right away were rewarded with a foldable water bottle. Moreover, popcorn redemption was available for visitors.
To embody its commitment to supporting the local community, The Link sponsored the Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships for the second year in a row, with the Stanley Plaza name adorning the Stanley Plaza Mixed Division and the Stanley Plaza Gold Cup. The Link also sent members of its staff to form a dragon boat team to participate in the competition.
