| The Link Real Estate Investment Trust (“The Link REIT”) has been selected as an index component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific) 2013/2014, another global recognition of The Link REIT’s sustainability efforts following its inclusion in the FTSE4Good Index earlier this year. The Link REIT is the first and only Hong Kong REIT added to DJSI Asia Pacific in the recent component changes made effective 23 September. The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices follow a best-in-class approach to include companies across all industries that outperform their peers in numerous sustainability metrics, including corporate governance, economic, environmental and social criteria. “As a young company, recognition by being included in the DJSI confirms that we have established an effective foundation to run our business successfully on a sustainable manner and create value for the community as a whole. Launched in 1999, the DJSI were the first global indices to track the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide. The DJSI review provides an in-depth analysis of financially material, economic, environmental and social practices, such as innovation or supply chain management, climate strategy and stakeholder engagement, and places a special focus on industry-specific risks and opportunities. |
