At the ICSC Awards presentation ceremony in Manila, widely hailed as “the Oscars of the global shopping mall industry”, Link was named the winner of two major awards, a testament to Link’s world-class achievements. These include The ICSC Foundation Albert Sussman International Community Support Award, which recognises the community contributions made by Link through its flagship charity programme “Link Together Initiatives”, and the Silver Award in the “Renovations and Expansions” Category of The ICSC Asia Pacific Shopping Center Awards, which affirms the success of Link’s Tin Shing Market asset enhancement project.
“Link Together Initiatives” gains global recognition
The highly coveted ICSC Awards recognise excellence within the world’s shopping centre industry. Award winners are selected by an international judging panel for outstanding achievements in marketing and design / development of retail properties and retail store design. As the winner of The ICSC Foundation Asia Pacific Community Support Award last year, “Link Together Initiatives” was automatically entered into the Albert Sussman International Community Support Award competition this year, where it has emerged the winner.
Link is the first Hong Kong company to win The ICSC Foundation Albert Sussman International Community Support Award. The highest honour of the ICSC Foundation, the Award recognises shopping centres, management companies or developers that provide the most outstanding community service campaign. Link’s Tin Shing Market has garnered the Silver Award in the “Renovations and Expansions” Category of The ICSC Asia Pacific Shopping Center Awards, its first award since the completion of its renovations works, underscoring Link’s success in turning the market into a flagship property though asset enhancement and providing residents with a broad range of retail choices. Through this enhancement project, Link aimed to turn to Tin Shing Shopping Centre and Market into a major hot spot in the district.
