Record Breaking 3rd Bike Dragon Dance When it was first launched in 2012 in Tin Shui Wai as Hong Kong’s first bike-related Chinese New Year event, The Link’s Bike Dragon Dance aimed to promote a green lifestyle. This year’s Bike Dragon Dance at Hong Kong Science Park’s Pak Shek Kok Promenade will bring together representatives of the Hong Kong Cycling Team, professional cyclists and almost 300 bike enthusiasts at around 6:30pm to make Fire Dragon patterns with their bicycle lights. The Fire Dragon will dance along the cycling path to break the record for the “Bike Dancing Dragon”, delivering prosperous new year wishes to everyone. Hilda Wong, Head of Marketing of The Link, said, “The Chinese New Year bike events in Tin Shui Wai and in Tseung Kwan O over the last two years were a great success. We have extended this event to Sha Tin and Tai Po this year, hoping to attract more participants.
