Hong Kong’s First Finnish Christmas Market at Stanley Plaza

Stanley Plaza’s Christmas Market has returned with a brand new theme, “Finnish Christmas Wonders” for its third year.” Starting 9 December, the plaza transforms into an authentic Finnish village for two consecutive weekends. Over 100,000 visitors have been attracted to experience the unique Finnish Christmas festivities in the first weekend.

The stunning market entrance highlights Finnish popular icons. With romantic Christmas lighting, this is one of the “check-in” places, at night.

Snap photos at the Giant Music Box where visitors can enjoy a spin and the amazing lighting just like the scene in “Frozen”.

A “must-see” - the Finland’s Aurora show upon entering the “Starry Glass Igloo”, where visitors can travel to Finland via Virtual Reality.

The REAL Santa comes all the way from Finland to celebrate the season with visitors in the Village.

Spend HK$ 600 at Stanley Plaza to redeem a collectible Finnish Kuksa served with a complimentary cup of mulled wine. Only 250 cups are available daily, first come and first served!

Supported by the Consulate General of Finland, Hong Kong and Macau and Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, the highly anticipated “Finnish Christmas Wonders” at Link’s Stanley Plaza kicked off yesterday. With over 80 iconic Finnish Houses offering Finnish delicacies, gifts, and northern light merchandise, the market offers an amazing Finnish Christmas Market for two consecutive weekends (9, 10, 16 and 17 December). The market will also feature a Finland Aurora show enabled “igloo” for visitors’ enjoyment, a “Giant Music Box”, a Finnish Jacuzzi Photo Spot”, plus an incredible Christmas lights display in the village, making the event a romantic and dazzling hotspot!

The market is conveniently accessible via public transport, while free shuttle buses and passenger vessels commuting between Stanley and various spots in Hong Kong Island are also available. Visitors who wish to drive to the market are advised to pre-reserve a car parking space at Stanley Plaza through Park & Dine mobile app.
