The Link has been providing free Entry Passes to the 60 Legislative Council Members and several hundred of District Council Members from the 18 districts. Holders of the pass can enjoy free parking at designated car park(s) from 8am till 12pm, which will facilitate them provide services to the local community. As a result of the changing working hours of some Council Members, The Link has recently received numerous suggestions on the free parking hours. To provide greater flexibility to match their actual working hours and needs, The Link has decided to further extend the free parking hours for these Entry Passes from 6am to 12pm, at a total of 18 hours. The new extension will take effect from 1st March 2011. In addition to this change, the promotion period for "EV Pass" for users of Electric Vehicles will also be extended to end of December 2011. All EV Pass holders can park their electric vehicles free of charge at designated time slots and car parks during this period. The Link has also offered other car park promotions to qualified users including "The One- Link Pass", "Day Park/ 24-hour parking scheme" , and half-price discount for all parking by the holders of 'Disabled Person's Parking Permit' and 'Parking Certificate for Drivers Who Carry People with Mobility Disabilities'.
