| George Hongchoy, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Link Asset Management Limited (“Link”), has recently been named Business Person of the Year at the Hong Kong Business Awards 2015 organised by DHL and the South China Morning Post. Since 1990, the Awards have acknowledged the vital contributions made by individuals and by companies in maintaining and expanding the economic viability and international stature of Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta. The Business Person of the Year Award credits Mr Hongchoy with guiding the transformation of Link into a premier global REIT industry player and contributing to the growth of Hong Kong’s REIT industry.
Mr Hongchoy said at the awards ceremony, “I would like to dedicate this award to our Board of Directors and all members of staff, whose shrewd minds and stellar performance have brought Link to where it is today. It has been the most fruitful and humbling experience working with such a strong and dedicated team. Together with our trusting community of stakeholders, they have helped prove that it is indeed possible to run a business that is sustainable, financially robust and, at the same time, socially responsible.”
