“The Wish of Tap Tap”
International Arts Carnival – “The Wish of Tap Tap” will combine various performing elements, including magic juggling and tap dance in 2014, to inspire children’s imaginations through creative performances. Date: 26 July 2014 (Sat)

Stanley Plaza, The Link’s first dog-friendly shopping centre, is becoming a training ground for dogs! Dog owners get to build a stronger bond with their canine companions through the “Doggie Get Set Go!” event, which features professional trainers to train both dog lovers and canines in building mutual trust. “Sunday Funday… Hope Shines Through at Stanley Plaza” is a charity carnival which seeks to raise funds for the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation. Families who would like to give back this summer can join the event along with top model, Janet Ma, and her daughter, Kayla Wong, who will then serve as Women of Hope Ambassadors. Carnival activities include a performance by the famous singer-songwriter, Joyce Lee, stage performance of “Alice in Wonderland”, art-jamming, face-painting, booth games, giant dance flash mobs, community yoga and “The Story Stage”. Peter Rabbit, the popular cartoon character, will also join the audience in taking photos.

With the rapid technological developments in the digital age, our everyday lives are increasingly tied to innovations. Stanley Plaza will offer a preview of future technology to visitors in August through the event at Stanley Plaza Amphitheatre. The show will showcase “Hand of Hope”, a R&D product which won an international innovation award, while demonstrating the prevailing 3D printing technology. Participants can learn about recycling facts through interactive exhibits. The dynamic running game is the best place for you to show your fantastic moves. The road show will let you experience how the new technologies brought lasting benefits into our daily lives through fun interactive exhibits and games. Moreover, participants not only can enjoy a series of amazing magic shows related to science, but also can unveil the scientific principles behind the magic.
