A garland of global awards for Link’s achievements in 2017

Link REIT and its manager, Link Asset Management Limited (“Link” or “the Company”) have scooped a total of over 50 awards and accolades in the past year including awards by global organisations and those from Greater China and Hong Kong. The awards cover financial management, corporate governance, sustainable development, green property construction, and property management and facilities.
At the Asset Corporate Awards 2017, Link emerged a big winner garnering four accolades: the Asset Platinum Award, the Best Chief Executive Officer Award and the Best Investor Relations Team Award and Best Initiatives in Diversity and Inclusion.
Distinguishing the best investor and service provider in the industry at The Asset Triple A Asset Servicing, Fund Management and Investors Awards 2017, Link received the “Property Investor of the Year” and “Impact Investor of the Year” award.
Link has also received top recognition for its corporate governance and investor relations. Organised by Institutional Investor magazine, Link won six awards in the “2017 All-Asia Executive Team Ranking” including the “Most Honored Company”, while CEO George Hongchoy won two “Best CEO” honors with his first place ranking. Link also garnered three honors in the “Best IR Companies” and “Best Website” categories.
In addition, Link’s Executive Director and CEO George Hongchoy has been named Country Winner for the Hong Kong/Macau Region at the renowned EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) 2017 China awards. While mainland enterprises are "going global," Link has "gone in" to invest in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and it is expected that Link will make more investments in the mainland to capture further growth opportunities.
At the Directors of the Year Awards 2017, Asia's most influential annual event for listed companies’ board directors, organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, Link’s Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director Nicholas Allen was named the Director of the Year Award winner in the Non-Executive Director category for “Listed Companies (SEHK - Hang Seng Index Constituents)”.  Link’s board of directors was also a winner in the Board category in addition to receiving a “Recognition of Excellence in Board Diversity”. The awards seek to acknowledge the value of outstanding boards and directors, and to promote good corporate governance and excellence in the standards of directors.
Link also received the "2017 Service Retailer of the Year – Shopping Mall Category Award”, under the annual award scheme organised by the Hong Kong Retail Management Association's Mystery Shoppers Programme.
For its commitment and efforts in promoting community sustainable development, the Link Together Initiatives’ Guide Dog Localisation Programme was named a Gold winner and its Food Recycling Project a Bronze winner in the "Public Relations: Sustainability" category at the Galaxy Awards 2017 organised by MerComm, Inc., which celebrates the best in marketing communications worldwide.
In addition, the Company has been included in the FTSE Social Responsibility Index, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index Asia-Pacific Index and the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index for four consecutive years, which recognises the Company for its sustainable development and ongoing contribution to the community. The process of constituents selection is extremely rigorous, and the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index needs to consider the results of the sustainable development rating by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency to achieve objective, reliable and high investment value for the index series.
Looking ahead, Link will continue to maintain high standards of corporate governance and implement a complete asset management model to further enhance operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation and improve customer experience and managing our assets to create value for all our stakeholders.
