Building on Phase I of the programme, it brings hearing care directly into the community through “Silver Hearing Health Ambassadors”, who provide screening, counselling, educational talks and sign language activities to help seniors identify hearing loss early, improve communication and stay socially engaged. It also strengthens the ambassador training and develops a sustainable community-based hearing health support model. By equipping community organisations and volunteers, it aims to bring hearing services within local communities in the long run, enabling more seniors to access timely and appropriate support.
