Open Learning Resources

Cultivating Awareness for Sustainability from an Early Age

To deepen students’ understanding about the thematic content, in addition to docent tours, we also provide practical learning resources for the groups of secondary, primary and kindergarten students visiting the Lab. Our goal is to help schools meet the learning needs of different grade levels and expand school-based curriculums.

Schools that are interested in collaborating with the Lab for organising other activities are welcomed to contact us.

Docent Tour Worksheet

Three versions of the docent tour worksheets are designed for students of different age groups and grade levels. Schools are welcomed to download and use them so that students can continue with their learning during the tour, at school or at home.

Download Now:

  • Age 4 to 7
  • Age 8 to 11
  • Age 12 to 16

Extended Learning Workshop

Schools are welcomed to participate in the free extended learning workshop after finishing the docent tour.

The activity is designed by A Plastic Ocean Foundation and led by the Lab ambassadors. Each session lasts about an hour, and the seats are available on a first come first served basis. Click here for the workshop details:

  • Recycled Paper Workshop (K2 to Primary 2)
  • Black Soldier Fly Habitat Design Workshop (Primary 3 to Secondary 6)

If schools are interested in joining these workshops, please specify in the "Special Needs" section in the docent tour application form. We will reply within three business days upon receiving the application to confirm the arrangement.
