Since the Industrial Revolution, mass production has driven a linear economy—extracting, manufacturing, consuming, and disposing—that depletes natural resources and harms the environment.
Recently, the global shift toward a circular economy promotes sustainability by recycling and reusing resources, closing the loop between consumption and production. Guided by the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle—this model supports eco-friendly product management.
The theme “Loop to Last – Unveiling the Circular Economy” explores topics like climate change, sustainable fashion, overpackaging, marine litter, recycling of e-waste, waste-to-energy and nature-based solutions.
