Microgreens - young vegetable greens that are at the growing stage between sprouts and baby leaf vegetables - are a popular choice for sprucing up your dishes. Furthermore, they are a nutrient powerhouse - they can contain up to 40 times the nutrients level compared to their mature plant counterparts! In this workshop, participants will start their urban farming journey with a guided visit to the Lok Fu Place Urban Farm to learn more about organic farming and seasonality of crops, followed by a hands-on experience in growing their own microgreens to take home. Grow your own food, reduce your carbon footprint and level up your sustainability game!
