Link's journey to “Less Plastic” relies on our collaboration with stakeholders who share the same vision as us. We engage with each other to advocate SUP reduction as a collective effort.

The Kommon Goods

The Kommon Goods is a local start-up providing one-stop solutions that help businesses to make socially and environmentally conscious choices. As one of our participants in CONNECTION 2019, they introduced their signature cassava bags. We recognised our collaboration would serve as an initial yet precious opportunity in reducing our SUP bags usage while helping them to improve their product design at the same time.

A.S. Watson Group

Watsons Water, a member of the A.S. Watson Group, is a major distilled water producer in Hong Kong. With the common goal of reducing SUP, Link has collaborated with Watsons Water to install their Green Point Smart Water Bottle Reverse Vending Machine in our Hong Kong properties. The partnership has created synergy and expanded the recycling network, contributes to collecting hundreds of thousands of plastic bottles each year.

Environmental Protection Department (EPD)

The  EPD has strived to build a community recycling network to reduce the city's environmental footprint. As our shopping malls are closely connected to local communities, we have collaborated with the EPD to install Plastic Bottle Reverse Vending Machines in our properties to strengthen support for recycling facilities at the district level.
